SOLD!

Perdix AI, Aqualung transmitter & original packaging, purchased from LDS in Sacramento. Used 12 times, works perfectly. Transmitter synced and working. See images. Replaceable screen protector has small, unobtrusive scuff; battery cover has cosmetic blemish (learned to use a nickel to open after).

Selling because it doesn't give warning beeps, which I still find helpful at my level of experience.

$800 shipped (Priority Mail), thru PayPal friends and family or Zelle. Welcome to pick it up in Davis, CA, too. Happy to answer questions.

Thanks : )

Thanks! I'm hoping to sell it and put it towards a GUE Anniversary BC system before my next dive : )

Hey Pelagic, your for sale post convinced me to finally create an account.

I’m looking at finally getting some scuba gear after having diving for several years. I dive Nitrox and I’ve been doing a lot of research online and leaning towards a Perdix but haven’t seen one yet in person to play with it.

You mentioned the Perdix doesn’t have audible alarms but does it do vibrate warnings or anything that would draw attention to the screen to see the warning other than just randomly glancing at the computer? Thanks.

Hey there Captain, the Perdix AI is pretty awesome, but when I was ascending during AOW, my buddy's Suunto Eon Steel kept beeping, and he "forcefully" signaled me to stop ascending. After we compared dive profiles using the software for each dive computer, I could see that the audible warning was crucial. We needed to stop. The AI doesn't vibrate, but even if it did, it wouldn't help because I wear a 7mm wetsuit and a vibration wouldn't be noticed. Really, we aren't supposed to rely on beeps, but rather keep an eye on key metrics, air pressure, depth, time. Even so, at the time we were ascending through a mass of sea nettles stinging us across the mouth along with the novelty of it all (and maybe a little euphoria from a 100ft dive). The beeps were a timely reminder to pay attention to the brute physics of the dive.

Are you sure your Perdix said you needed to stop? Different computers can have different NDL profiles.

@Captain Nemo 85
Don't let lack of beeps stop you getting this, they're awesome! At let's face it, if you have a computer that has the annoying beeps, do everyone around you a favour and turn them off :D
