I'm sure you all are tired of getting questions about this but.....

I need advice on charters in the Pennekamp Park area. There are so many to choose from. Who's had what experiences with boats down there?

I booked 2 days with Hall's in Marathon and want to book a day in Key Largo on our way home.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

I've used Captain Slate's Atlantis Dive Center (Key Largo) and the Florida Key's Dive Center (Islamorada). Both had good boats, good divemasters and good service.

Divers City USA. It's the most professionally run dive boat I've ever been on anywhere. $50 for a two-tank trip, tanks and weights included, limited to a maximum of ten divers (usually much less than that). They also sell prepaid dive cards, and the more dives you buy in advance, the cheaper they get. I've always thought they're almost too good to be true. Their website is:

They're located in Tavernier.

Go with Diver City. Great outfit. If you want to get a little closer to Key Large, go with Horizon Divers. A very stable boat and the shop is near Worldwater Sports. A must see Dive outlet!

I use Scuba-Do (www.scuba-do.com).. Laurie and Dave run a good ship and are fun people.. but then again, I've not found fun people in Key Largo anytime I've been there, except the lost tourists who are clueless about da key islands mon..

I like these guys, very friendly, knowledgable, and safety minded.
Right at MM100 between Holiday Inn & Ramada.
