A novice diver - will be in Cozumel in Apr and plan a min of 1 nite dive. Instead of renting a dive lite ($10 per dive) was thinking of purchasing the Pelican ($37). If I dive twice the cost of the rental is 1/2 of which I can purchase this lite for. Also would like to use this lite for my sourse lighting for taking video when day/nite diving Is it worth it? Opinions? Not sure the right thread for this. Tried to delete but couldn't.

Thanks Larry

i wpild think twice about buying a Pelican. Although they claim its lifetime warranty and good to 500 feet. if you have a problem and send the light back they dont respond. they dont reply to emails and their advertising is misleading. do yourself a favor and buy a real dive light
