Went to peacock to do some diving, but my buddy had sinus issues, and wisely called off the dive, so we decided to walk around and see some of the areas of Peacock that we hadn't been to (on land at least).

Challenge Sink (guess where the name comes from!)-

Peacock 3 Basin (it was clear water, and several divers were diving it)-

Very nice, thank you for posting these.

Thnx for the pix

Great pictures! Thanks! It looks like I will be there the first of Feb. for cave class. Really looking forward to it. It's nice to get an idea of the lay out & what I'll be seeing.

Thanks for the pics.

I've never seen water in waterhole :) LOL Course, I've never seen any of the basins clear either, ugh.

We got to Peacock last February, the day they closed the system down. We got one dive in Orange Grove before they closed it, too. So we went hiking -- it's really a very pretty park, even from the surface.

Thank you for the excellent pictures to bring back those memories.

We did Lower Orange yesterday. LOTS of people diving in the sink. (Parking lot was almost full).
(won't comment on the vis :rofl3: )

Very nice pics btw :D
The underneath of Peacock is looking just GRAND these days too (SMILE)
Matches your wonderful pics.

Even ol P3 is really nice.
IT IS clear under all that er , uh , Peacock floatie stuff.
(the syphon is mild to moderate)

I think we will be there diving New Years Eve. (P1)

Too bad you could not get in the water (of course you guys did the right thing). But the weather and conditions in Cave Country were awesome this weekend.
