Mike, you have way too much time on your hands, but it is just too funny. I am not sure if the op's buddy is getting much out of all this, but I have never seen any sharks at St. Andrews jettys, saw some big tasty looking groupers out there last summer.:11:

You're absolutely right... we should apologize to the OP as we've pretty much taken over his thread.

However, I hope he found it funny when he gets back to read it...

I'll gladly buy him a beer.....

Ironically, they have Shark beer also. (or another brand if he prefers :D )

EDIT:

maybe the thread has ironically gotten to the point of where Fonzie Jumps the Shark? :rofl3:(you had to have been around watching TV in the 1970's to know what that term means....)

Of course Homer Simpson wasn't going to let Fonzie out-do him....

Hey there,
Help me out and let me know what shark species I may encounter on a dive at the Jetties. I am getting a trip planned with a friend of mine and he has expressed some concerns. How often are they encountered would be good to know as well. Thanks in advance!

Brad

You are most likely to meet up with a bull shark, the number one shark involved in human/shark encounters gone bad of the bloody kind.

Damn, mike.. he even followed you on that rock climbing trip you made!

I think it's all revenge.. yes... revenge.. for your helping to put his brother in a petting zoo!

(And yes... this thread has /definitely/ jumped the shark! Bwahahaha!)

Yeah, never seen a shark at the Jetties. No doubt bull sharks are out there though. I think they are scared of being caught and domesticated. I use this one in place of a scooter.
