I figured there was no way I was getting into the water anytime soon given the conditions in SoCal right now.

But, I got a call from dispatch this morning (aka the wife) to work on a search & recovery mission this morning after the heavy winds last night. It was successful. Story & photos are at the link below. Visibility was surprisingly good and I haven't worn the DiveRIte 901 suit in a while but it held up well.

Another successful dive to 200+! 200 cm, that is.

Seriously this is why it is so, check this Aladdins Cave out

Because you must!

But the real question is, what did you use for redundancy on this daring solo expedition? Doubles? A pony? Or did you really tempt fate with a Spare Air? :rofl3:

Solo dive with a deep breath but I had plenty of oxygen nearby. :) Getting bold in my old age.

I know details like this are typically kept close to the chest for safety reasons, but what was the mix on your stage bottles? 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc?

I'm totally open book on my gas selection on any/all of my dives!

For this particular adventure, I had N2O for my first and only stage bottle. :)
