I was certified on Sept 19, 1999, the day after my fifty first birthday. Since then, I've finished PADI Advanced diver, Rescue diver, Divemaster, Nitrox, and IANTD Cavern Certification. Yesterday, I took two IANTD courses on Gas Blending and Equipment Technician. Took apart and rebuilt my Scubapro Mk20 for 100% O2, O2 cleaned several cylinders, and learned how to mix Trimix.

Today, I did a practice dive for my Introduction to Cave Diving (IANTD) in a pool in Oklahoma City. If I log it, it'll be Dive #200. I think I'll log it, even though it was only 18'; well, it was for over an hour, and was with my instructor, and I finally learned a method of easily doing my valve drills, learned how to drop and pick up deco/stage bottles on the fly, and buddy breathed with three other divers at once.

Seems like a milestone. Two weeks from now, will be heading to Roubidoux in Missouri with instructor and buddies Brock, Trog, Mike, and Randy, probably others. I hope to finish my Intro to Cave course, if my skills are passable.

Congratulations! I'd definately log it! I log every time I go underwater, whether it's the pool or open water. I just don't count all the pool ones. If it's a serious training session, I count it. And yours definately counts!

My 200th was on CoCo View Wall. I'll hit another milestone on our trip in March!

Hey...did you see on RSD, that Juanlocoand his son got permission to map a virgin cave in Missouri somewhere?

Congratulations on achieving your milestone. But as NetDoc says, please be careful in the caves...

That's great! By the end of next year, I hope to be doing caves as well. Good for you. Be safe!

GREAT JOB ...............best of luck to you, keep on diving.
........... Arduous .................

So you've been a busy boy! Congrats on your training and certs - I hope to have a resume like yours someday!
