I own a pair of Salvo SR3 regulators which are now my primary regulators for my doubles. I am planning to switch them for deco, which means they have to be oxygen clean. I have someone who can help me with the process, but I want to make sure I have everything I need. O-rings and the like will not be a problem, but I was told a new HP seat might be in order.

Since the company is out of business, I don't have anywhere authoritative to turn. The regulator is identical (except for the name on the second stage) to the Sea Elite Tek-X, and it is nearly identical to the Dive Rite Hurricane. All were made in the same factory.

Any help would be appreciated.

John, don't do a thing to these. They came out of the factory extremely clean and do not need to be cleaned again unless you have gotten them filthy. If that's the case you are better off just sending them out for an overhaul by a qualified technician than messing with them yourself. These can be a little finicky to get dialed in for smoothness.

If your plan is to use these for typcial deco gasses they will be fine.

Thanks! Does your definition of "typical deco gasses" include pure O2?

Simple green and lots of hot water. You should probably get a rebuild kit too since you'll have the whole thing apart.

Of course, since Slavo does not exist, and since Sea Elite Tech-X is no longer being made,...

No, you did not indicate that you were using them for 100% pure oxygen. If that is the case AND they have been contaminated with poor quality air since you first got them then they do need to be overhauled, cleaned and properly lubricated.

However, once they are cleaned and you dedicate the oxygen regulator to just oxygen there is little you need to do to them other than keep them clean.
