I see I am not the only one that makes plastic tank spacers... personally I think it's the best... especially older tanks that the threads are not parallel to the outside... way less stress on the manifold...
tanks are not perfect

I'd love to see triples made with one big tank in the middle and two tiny ones on the sides, painted to look like a rebreather.

The triples manifold would be the biggest problem when using modern cylinders. You could always do a set with twin 40 of 50s with a standard 215mm manifold and mount the third in the in between slightly above centerline. The third cylinder could be treated like an independent back-mounted pony or stage bottle. Sort of a delta-pack triple with a lower profile.
