Been there done that..... I guess is that i need someone with experience to tell me the best period of time (window) in relation to high tide... i.e.: 1 hour before and after..etc.

My experience has been not to dive after high tide turns around, as the viz drops. But if you know which way its going you can drift it at any time. I would say the best time is to dive about an hour before slack high tide. Either go in the beach side, around the point and drift to the lagoon, or go in the lagoon and swim up and down the channel and get out when it starts going out.
