Dove with Cap. Pat yesterday, conditions are great! Dove the bridge span and Bart. Saw lots of sea life , caught a glimpse of the tail fin of the shark and saw some Goliaths. Going back tomorrow to dive the Strength and Red Sea...a few more spots on the boat. Give him a call the water is great but bring a light wetsuit the thermocline is a little nippy.

If you haven't dove with Cap. Pat give him a call. Great operation!
Looking at the beach right now and it's gorgeous!!!!!!!!

Also saw more small tropicals on the jetties than I have seen in a long time.

What depth is the thermocline at and what's the temp?

What depth is the thermocline at and what's the temp?

I saw two recent reports on another local forum. Temps are a little different I guess at different depths.

Today on the Chippewa:
On the Chippewa vis was 30-50' and the temp was 86 down to 60 foot and 70 on the bottom

on July 18th on an inshore site.
It is warm but there is a thermocline about 10-15' off the bottom. I am in a 3 mil. I think the bottom temp is about 82 and surface is about 86. Can't wait to see you guys. :)

70 is still warmer than what I normally dive!
