Not only have conditions been grand, but we've been finding some interesting animals.

Indeed, visibility out here at the Avalon Dive Park has been in the 50-60 ft range... but divers are staying away to play with their new toys

Catalina Express no longer offers free birthday rides. :(

Oh, I thought they changed it from a free ride on your birthday to a free ride if accompanied by someone paying full fare.

We took the Catalina Flyer last time and didn't care much for it because they only have one trip there and one back. Time to check Groupon!

Edit: I just checked and I was correct but they have a lot of prerequisites and it is ONLY on your birthday and not the month or week thereof etc. Like I said, I'll check Groupon :)

Another Edit: Rats! It only mentions 2017. Anything could happen in 2018, including what you said :(

Windfinder app shows Sunny and 19°C Air with mid-morning 2-3 knot winds from North, and 0.3 meter (1 foot) swell at 12s from the South, for an Olympic Wreck and Oil Rig Eureka Dive tomorrow Friday. Expecting usual thermocline with water temperature at depth beyond 15 meters to be around 13°C, with surface at 16°C. Hopefully viz will be good, and current moderate in the San Pedro Channel. . .

Temperature in degrees Celsius because it sounds a lot colder than it really is:)! (So far a mild but awful brushfire dry SoCal Winter). . .
