I'm planning to order the Scubapro MK11/C370 (with a second C370 as my octo) for recreational diving. I'm also planning to order two HOG D3's to use in conjunction with the C370's when I use a twinset for tec diving. My question is whether I'll need to do any fiddling with the intermediate pressure for the MK11 or D3's when I move the 2nd stages from rec to tec (and back).

I am assuming that the MK11 and D3's will deliver an intermediate pressure of 135 psi and that the C370's will perform fine. Is this a good assumption? Anything else I should watch out for?

Note: I mostly dive in tropical water (>74 deg. F).

Thanks!!

I would adjust the D3 IP to be the same as the MK11 for optimum performance, but if they're within a couple psi of each other you won't be able to tell a difference

Thanks tbone1004. Makes perfect sense. Dumb question: If an adjustment is needed, do I have to remove the environmental seal on the D3 to adjust the IP?

yes, the IP adjustment screw is beneath the seals. Need a pin spanner to get the seal off then it is an easy adjustment
