Doesn't matter. Choose the better instructor.

Basically, you'll learns the pros and cons, how to use the nitrox tables, as well as some calculations.

I agree :)

is there advantages to either one and its the same instructor for both

PADI then, it counts toward master diver or MSDI if you ever go off in that direction.

Doesn't PADI teach how to use ONLY 32% and 36% ?

I would ask to see what the course material covers and see how in-depth it goes. Pick whichever will teach you the most, since they're from the same instructor.

I did the PADI nitrox course and the TDI advanced nitrox course. I liked the TDI book beter, they cut out a lot of the fluff. I would just flip a coin.

My guess is that if its the same instructor he is going to teach material from both regardless. It makes sense for him to do this to avoid two different course wares. the videos may change but the discussion will be virtually the same.

If you PADI OW certified then it makes sense to get PADI Enriched Air, you can then get one card with your cert level and enriched air all in one. Nice to have when you travel. If your TDI OW certified then I would go that route.

Nitrox isn't rocket science. your learning some basic principles and formulas and then demonstrating that you retained some knowledge and can apply what you learned. Probably the biggest difference will be the tables you recieve at the end, one set will say PADI and one will say TDI. ;)

I want to do Advanced Nitrox and my choice then will probably be TDI from everything I have heard but they do honor the PADI nitrox from what I hear.
