PADI /NAUI / SSI Rescue

We suggest Rescue + 50 dives to dive on the North Sea wrecks. It's just a guideline for experience because the conditions can be fairly challenging and you don't want people to get in over their head, as it were..... Could be the same kind of thing.

I wondered if that might be the reason. Although from the post by Sealkie it wouldn't seem to be a dive that would require a rescue cert. I also noted that the original poster's profile indicates that he has already dove the the site and been to 90 feet on a couple of occasions(possibly trust me dives)

If I was OW, I would want to be deco trained before attempting a dive to 130'. The PADI RDP only gives 9min bottom time at that depth, including descent. Thats not long enough for me - especially since you would be rushing around the wreck to try to see everything which means increased breathing rate, increased co2, etc.

Also at that depth, nitrox becomes less effective since you can only have a weak mix (28% - po2 1.4).
