We have given Padi a hard time on this board for dummy downing or the Scuba Diver or Diver Lite certification. It looks like Rutgers University has been influenced by the Padi marketing.

Rutgers University in a press release, has announce the new

(Mini) MBA.

If you do not have the time to properly get a Masters of Business Adminitration.... Take this 12 week course that cuts out the time consuming tasks like Tests and Written Papers. It is designed for the people that are short on time.


I could not believe what I heard on the public radio news today. I hope that there will be an in depth report to find out all the details. I hope it is not what it sounds like.

It sounds like a certificate program, not an MBA, or even a mini-MBA. Would be interesting to see the details. But please - time consuming tasks like tests?? Ahh, the joy of instant gratification. My poor alma mater, fighting for market share in the new world order. Really it sounds like the old Fr. Guido Sarducci skit on Saturday Night Live - the 5 Minute University - a SNL classic

And Rutgers does endorse PADI! Ran into a RU OW class at Dutch Springs back in October/November - bringing them in by the busload, gear all over the place, churning up the silt. The kids from what I saw, were a pretty well behaved bunch topside.
