Hi everyone, I'm new around these parts...but happy to be here. Dive_Girl PNW told me about this board today, so I thought I'd check it out.

I am an avid cold water diver, and mostly dive Puget Sound, Hood Canal, and off Vancouver Island. Done a few warm water locations too, such as Bonaire and Hawai'i. Also off Catalina and Monterey Bay in California.

I love Pacific NW Fish and Invertebrate ID - gotta know what I'm looking at! ...and teach classes to divers all over the NW - as well as take tons and tons of photos underwater of all sorts of critters.
:octo:

That's about it for now...hope you like fish geeks, cuz that's me!

- Janna :)

Thanks Doc Intrepid!

Hey, with you being from the Tri-cities area have you ever dove any silos? There are a couple closer to you (well, closer to you than me :p). I have been curious about silo diving and have had some students ask me recently. Any info you may provide would be great. Thanks in advance!

I've dove the Titan silos here, but they are no longer open to the public. Not sure what happened or if they will reopen.
It was interesting diving, but not something you'd want to do more than a couple times.
