I have an oxycheck 55 that i've been using for doubles. I want to dive singles with it also. I tried the oms STA which I didn't like because it was to high off the
BP. Is anyone using the oxy with singles? does anyone just use camstraps and hook it up directly to the plate? or do you use an STA? and if so which one?

I much prefer STAs for singles as the connection is much more stable. Regardless, you're not going to be happy using a large doubles wing for a single tank.

MD

I use the Fred T. STA with my Fred T. BP and oxy wing.

I use an Oxycheq STA on one singles rig and a Dive Rite STA on the other. The Oxycheq STA holds the cylinder a bit closer to the plate.

BTW - I agree with MD ... regardless of how you configure it, you're not going to like using a doubles wing for a singles configuration. You'll feel a lot of sloppiness in your trim as that wing tacos around your cylinder. Do yourself a favor and get the proper wing for the job.

Yeah, the doubles wing will completely swallow a single, and will completely screw up your trim, and ability to dive properly.
