OW Cert from NAUI and AOW, NITROX from PADI

How many people are certified from both?

I am NAUI OW and we are going to get AOW and NITROX done this week by PADI? Is this common and done alot? Do you carry 2 cards?

I have Padi OW and AOW. SSI nitrox.
I have friend that have NAUI OW.
AOW and nitrox Padi.

You don't need 2 cards for the same thing. Unless it's been so long that want to do a course as a review.

You can easily switch between diving organizations for certifications up to the dive master level. The organizations basically accept each other's certifications up to that point like they were their own. Though the quality of the course will be up to the instructor, maybe talk to who will be teaching and ask some questions.

I am OW & AOW from PADI and Rescue from NAUI - soon to be Nitrox NAUI. I think it's the store I associate with. I am also probably going to do NAUI dive master.

i have SSI OW and PADI AOW and Nitrox. Depending where you are diving, you may be fine with just Nitrox. It may be advantageous not to show AOW card at some operations as they will buddy you up with a more advanced diver.

Open water NAUI advance and Rescue PADI and Divemaster ACUC to me it gives us a better understanding of the different organisation and we can critisize them the way we want as we have work with different one no they don't do things the exact way and by switching I was able to learn more. I know that the people that will read this and are with one organisation only will try to make a point but I have seen the other side and until you do than you can critisize the one that do. I do carry all my card but only use the most current one. But in one occasion one store went "hum ACUC" so I showed him all my card and then left everything on the counter and took my business to another store.
