I did my open water there in april when the water temp was about 62 degrees and dui was doing dry suit testing that weeking so instead of just us newbies bouncing off the bottom everyone was which made the visibility even worse than usual. I actually kind of enjoyed the low visibility because it just made the experience a little more challenging. I actually got to lead my dive group on the last dive and we managed to find the El Camino at around 60 ft. You should definitely try and make it out the the el camino the next time you go to windy point, in my opinion its the coolest thing they have sunk out there. I'm surprised the shark was even under water, when we went it was in about 5 ft of water.
