On August 14, 2009 Divebum Don Robarge, Merry Passage and I were invited to take part in a live broadcast of the KTLA Morning News from Terranea Resort. The show included our friends from the resort Marissa Edwards, Matt the Birdman and Dylan and K.K. from pvbikehikekayak.com. A special appearance was made by Don's doggie Cyber.

Wow... I had that on but was editing so intensely that I didn't pay attention. Thanks for posting the video here, Phil.

Good for you!
Great for recreational diving!

Anything that is positive about the sport is always welcomed!

Especially when viewed by the general public.

There is fine reef named Miller,
To get to it some say it's killer,
But once you are there,
Your glad for spare air,
as this reef is quite a thriller...

Divebum Don,

I have been gone for a while ...Been off the board

You are certainly a great poet! What rolls off your computer is so true..

It was named in my honor by the pioneer locals so many years ago
To swim to it is a "killer" but once found is certainly a "thriller."

Forty, gosh almost fifty years ago, it was a diving paradise..loaded with game; shell fish, residential fish and occasional pelagics. For many years it was my private hunting grounds, known and dove by me and a few close companions.

Now it is in the book!

However, due to the long swim involved I seriously doubt if Miller's reef will be dove on a regular basis by the present day divers as it was in previous years as it was by me and my companions.

Thanks again for the poem and complement,

sdm
