Hey all. Looking to try and find an OTS transducer to work with our topside unit which is an older (but functional) STX-100. Would love to purchase new but this is personally funded so we're trying to save a little. Also looking for another 1-2 buddy phones.

Let me know if anyone has anything "floating" around. Thanks in Advance everyone!

Hey i don't have what you are looking for but seen you have a stx100.
I am in need of some close up pics of the channel selector sub board. My unit was damaged by a leaking battery and I am absolutely choked. I have already replaced the worst damaged chip which I managed to locate out of Australia. Sadly it didnt solve the problem.
Ots was of no help at all they just want to sell new.
One word of advice which I did after it was to late was to knock out the battery holders inside the stx 100 case and attach a rechargable lithium battery pack.
If I had done this before it would have saved me the issue I have now.
Hoping you can help
Matt

I can try to help. Just let me know exactly what you need a pic of and from what angles/etc.

We have since purchased a new transducer. Used it for the first time saturday for a short period. We didnt change channels or anything as we ran out of time but i was NOT impressed at all. Topside was able to make out a word or two of mine. I was not able to understand a single word that they said to me (the diver) with my d2 buddyphone.

If we can get this to actually work I would be interested in how you attached a lithium battery to it.

Mine used to work really well very clear for both sides. Till the battery's screwed it up. I definitely can advise what to do for a battery and learn from my mistakes. I got a pack that was larger than would fit inside so I Velcro ed it to the outside.

Ill shoot you an email in a moment. Write me back exactly what you need a photo of. I have to go to the fire dept tonight to get all my gear back on the trailer. Or if you want I can call or FaceTime with you.
