Scubaboard if the only site I check daily - usually twice daily if I am not overworked.

I check in now and then on a black powder cartridge rifle site since it's support my 45-70 sharps addiction:

And I check in now and then at a vintage dive site because I like old scuba stuff and the members there are truly superb people:

And I check in at the Deco Stop occassionally, but enjoyment varies depending on whether the tone is being dominated by reasonable and experienced divers or whether it's a combination of posers, patch divers, wannabees and ego maniacs. That gets old in a hurry.

A couple years ago when I worked for Just Flight and Alpha Simulations as a flight sim developer, I used to moderate at Netwings, but that got pretty old due to the general lack of maturity there and often argumentive gamers. I got tired of being attacked by morons for suggesting things like a 1.5 lb chunk of foam at 500mph really could in fact punch a hole in the leading edge of the space shuttle's wing (my academic career started in aeronautical engineering and from personal experience as a pilot I know that a 1.5 lb duck will punch right through the windshield of a light aircraft at only 100 mph). After a while you get tired of trying to educate the stupid.

I used to spend time on a "social" board known as the Seattle Apathons ... but it eventually whithered away ...

Unfortunately the Nikon forumes in www.dpreview.com has become almost worthless since the D200 announcement and release.

I've been lurking in www.wetpixel.com, but have not even registered as of yet.

Others include friends sites, but I'm not going to list them here.

NONE, they are bad habits, too time comsuming,...its frightening that I am on this one for hours sometimes.

I do like wet pixel though. Underwaterphotography forum too. But I just look.

Oh, Al jeezera and the earlybird (DOD news site)
