I use to surf, race motocycles (motocross and enduro), ride horses etc.

After breaking my leg skydiving (which is a blast) I decidied to only dive in the water!!!

And ride bikes!:)

Caribbean Carla...Sorry about the leg....but if I had to pick a way to break my leg....skydiving would be near the top.....As my luck goes...I will probably do it walking into work....I tried the moto cross thing.....I don't think I have ever been that sore in my life...I definatly have more respect now for those athletes.....It was fun while it lasted....The problem I had was more courage than skill...bad combination....
:jester:

Golf, running, rollerbladding, basketball, jumping on the trampoline, baseball, camping, every now and then fishing, street hockey....we have season tickets to okc blazers hockey so that's always fun to watch.

I've been, kayaking, power-parachuting, skydiving, hiking in Nat'l parks, rollerblading, biking, pistol shooting, fishing, hunting (gave it up,I'm too busy), birding, windsurfing, boating, sking ( both x-c and downhill), tennis, play guitar, used to motocross, golfing, sailing, grilling, remodeling our house, work out at a gym, table tennis, read, and the thing I do most in the summer is watch the sun go down over Lake Mich.

I wouldn't have it any other way,
Caymaniac

landlocked once bubbled...
The water gets a little hard for diving around here ............

Cut a hole & dive troo it Mon!

Pre blown out knee ligaments .... Rugby, Football (American style), baseball, water skiing, jet skiing and middle distance (10-15k) running.

Post blown out knees .... well ..... none of the fun stuff above!

It's the old man sports for me now, golf etc. That's what's cool about diving. You can have chunks of cartilage and ligaments missing & still actively participate without your knees swelling up to the size of water melons.

Besides, diving should take up most of your free time! :D

Top of the list, I'm a caver.

I also ski (XC and alpine), kayak (both whitewater and sea), canoe, raft (non commercial whitewater), climb occasionally (rock and ice), inline, and go camping a couple times a year.

Those are my regular activities.. Every week you'll find me doing at least two of those.. plus diving

The top two items besides scuba are Mountain Biking (lots of it), and riding Sportbikes (on the street and race track).

Other than that, downhill skiing, camping, fishing, hunting, eating and lots of other things I cant think of (or mention..heh heh) for some reason or another. :eek:ut:

Rock climbed pretty seriously for about 10 years. Still do but don't train for it as much. (My fingers hurt when it gets cold -- bad sign) Picked up diving as something a bit easier on my hands. Skiings a big one over the winter when I have time and there is acutally snow here.

Love to do just about anything outdoors. Camp, bike, fish, hike, etc...

I'll chime in...

I race BMX bicycles. We have 5 tracks in the Phoenix area, and I ride at least twice a week. The sport is organized thru two main sanctioning (and competing) bodies - the ABA (American Bicycle Association -- www.ababmx.com) and the NBL (National Bike League). I belong to the ABA. Both also coordinate national and regional races and have many classifications from novice to pro. The oldest active rider in the sport is a 77 year old man! I have found it to be a great family sport, with some of the best camaraderie I have ever been a part of...

Oh, I also:
downhill snow ski
play tennis and racquetball
sing in a rock-n-roll band (semi-retired now)
