Oslob Whale Sharks still there?

I'm just curious… Does anyone know if the whale sharks are still there, or have they departed? I was there in April.

They are still there. Unfortunately, last week one of the "resident" whale sharks is thought to have approached a motorized boat looking for food and suffered several cuts from the propeller. One cut went across it's right eye. It is unknown if it has affected its vision. There have been many posts and blogs with pictures. Google should find it easily, if not let me know.
