Hey all. The vis on the Oriskany has cleared up and it is around 80-90 feet again. The water is still a warm 74 degrees at 130 feet and 77 degrees at 80 feet. The seas on Saturday and Sunday were sporty but the H2O Below was fine. We got out both days and the vis make it worth it. I was actually able to take my camera down on both dives both days. I was hoping to con Walter into going to take pictures but he was busy. Hopefully we can talk him into it next time because his photography is WAY better than mine. I'll try to post pictures but I never can seem to figure that out.

Marine life is good. I love this time of year because with less divers we see more fish towards the top of the wreck. I was pretty busy looking for Octopus without any luck. I think they may have gone deeper. I got some pictures of Spiny Oysters and will try to post those also.

The boat is running everyday this week - but we head to Bonaire next weekend - YEAH!

Okay I am obviously too damn O#$U% to post pictures here. I can't even get them in my gallery - HELP! Where is Walter?

Okay I feel a little better. I got the pictures from this weekend in my photogallery. They should be the most recent. Please take a look but forgive my lack of ability.

Just upload your pictures on Scubaboard. Then open up another window and have your uploaded pictures in one window and your thread in another. Click on a picture and below it there will be a button you can click to copy the image. Then you just right click in your thread and paste the picture. If you continue to have problems I can meet you sometime at MBT and if they will let me I will show you how to do it on their computer.

The vis report for Monday was the same 80 - 90 feet. H2O Below has a trip today and I'll add the vis report when they get back but it should be about the same. The waves have calmed down and the seas are 2s with an east wind. Should be a great day.

Great pictures. One day I hope to make it out there for a few dives.

Michael

Walter - you are amazing! Thanks for the help.

Everyone - now is the right time of year to dive the Oriskany. We are heading to Bonaire but will be running trips again the week of November 17. We have four trips scheduled for that week now but still have room. The H2O Below had a trip today and the vis remains more than 80 feet! YEAH!
