Original Waterproof D1 Hybrid

Hi folks,
I have the option to pull the trigger on a used Waterproof D1 Hybrid Drysuit for a reasonably fair price (<500 Bucks).

Are there any experiences whether those Drysuit are still good value for money today?
Apparently (still due to be tested) the suit should be dry and has new seals.
