Hi Guys,

Just received the Ls14250 batteries from Batteries Plus & tried the in the SkinnyDipper. Unfortunately they did not work. I'm not sure now if they areb the wrong batteries or maybe there is some other problem with the unit. It should be noted that the specs in manual call for 3volt batteries & the batteries that I receive are 3.6 volt. For those that are interested,I will keep you all advised.

Thanks, vince... keep us apprised. I still have a SD that I keep "in reserve".

The Skinny Dipper is notorious for green slime on the contacts, especially the ones that are at the very top of the battery tube. The good news is that it is close to work on and fairly easy to clean. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T SAND/SCRAPE the O-ring or the O-ring sealing area. I thought my son had burned out his fairly new batteries... I inspected the contacts and walla. It ain't easy being green, so clean that non-conductive schmuck off of the contacts.
