You are correct!

But since this is my first winter diving I don't really know what to expect. And since I have not been diving in a few weeks it sounds like a good excuse to get wet. But I would really like to get a boat trip in by the end of the year I just keep thinking :cold: it will be cold.....

Sounds like a good excuse to get out there and dive to me! :D

Conditions were decent today at Shaws. Waves 1-2, vis around 15 with a light to moderate surge. My computer said the water was 60°F, but looking at my log the last 4 dives were all 60°F. Kind of strange I'll have to check that. I only got a little cold around 50 ft when we turned back, so not a bad dive.

Just an update, even though the thread should probably die!

He decided to bring his dry suit with him and we will be on the spectre tomorrow morning. I did make it out last weekend on the bottom scratcher and the water was 55. Brrrrrr after 3 dives, but not the end of the world. I am hoping the spectre is good time because it is a long drive up to it.

Thanks for the help.
