opinions on new PERSISTENT spearfishing gear?

my friend leo (cozumel) has been invited to join pipin ferraras' PERSISTENT spearfishing team; he tells me he is putting the PERSISTENT line of equipment thru field testing; i was curious if this equipment was actually available yet and, if so, if anyone had had a chance to use any of it; specifically the spearguns. does PERSISTENT actually make the guns or are they merely rebranding another gun?; i like the looks of the equipment but as yet haven't been able to see prices or get other opinions; leo is going to let me know his opinion once he is finished; if anyone knows leo, he is a first class guy with a first class business and this should be a real feather in his cap; thanks
