There are in fact Ice sharks in Lake Ontario. I have seen them and know they exist. (shivers).

They've been known to venture out of the lake and into the river on occasion as well. A couple of fast movers may have been sighted in Morrisburg today.

Today (Day 1) was a long day, all prep work, starting with a dive on a suspected site, GLUE club members, OFWFs Boogie711, Knives and Myself spent 60 minutes on the bottom of lake Ontario, practicing line drills and situational awareness. Afterwards
Dan and Harold prepared the Seaducer with the mag, subbottom profiler and other various electronic equipment from Macmaster University (sweet stuff). While myself with members of CHAA lead by Walter preped the laptops, checked maps and crash reports put a plan together.

Tommorrow OFWF's own Boogie711 will co-pilot the boat and start the search.

Day: Right out of the gate, the crew found a boat in 55 feet of water. The airplane is still eluding us, but we recieved some information from some locals that may assist us in further searches.

Day 3: CHAA, NTD aboard the Seaducer located several interesting hits, this was after a long day of computer repair and boat modifications. We are hoping to get some more help and diving in on Thursday/Friday.

Day 4: What a day a couple good hits, and a nice day all around. So the dive teams should start arriving tomorrow. The team also recieved information on an additional crash site located near Amherst Island.

So things are looking up
