Peter Rothschild, a PADI Recreational and Tec instructor, will be teaching the April Open Water Class for Bubbles Below in Woodinville. The class is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 1st.
The Bubbles Below Open Water Class is one of the premiere Open Water classes in the Puget Sound area due to the amount of time allotted and the number of staff. For classes of more than 4 students (maximum of 8), there will be six (6) classroom sessions (6:30 - 8:15), six (6) pool sessions (9 - 10:30) and two days of Open Water dives. The classroom/pool sessions are held on a Monday/Wednesday schedule over three weeks with the last two Saturdays being Open Water days.
This schedule allows each student time to absorb the teaching and pool experiences and with two of the weekday sessions between the first and second Saturday Open Water sessions, students are able to work on issues they found more difficult before doing their third and fourth Open Water dives.
In addition, Bubbles Below has a history of excellent, and plentiful, staff support for the pool and open water dives -- usually at least one staff person for every two divers (often times, one-to-one).
Peter Rothschild of Below and Beyond Scuba, http://www.belowandbeyond.biz, is a very well respected local instructor who has a wide variety of diving experience and experiences. He uses the teaching philosophy that says "You should learn as you will dive." In practical terms this means his students will learn to dive as horizontal divers from the very beginning. (They are learning to be divers after all, not kneelers!)
If you know someone who has been thinking about taking up this wonderful sport, this April would be a wonderful time to do so -- and Bubbles Below with Peter Rothschild is the class to take.
