So it's 5am (I'm not a morning person) and all of my gear, less my tanks are at my buddy's house. So I put the tanks in the bed of my truck and realize I forgot something inside. Some of you know where this is going. So after I retieved my forgotten item I hopped in the truck and hit the gas ready for a day of diving. When I hear a loud thud followed by the sound of metal cylinders rolling in the street. Yep, my cylinders! In my moments of cranio-rectal inversion I tossed a super 80 and a couple regular 80's into the street at about 20mph. I was worried but looked them over and found no major obvious damage to the tanks or valves so I proceeded to dive them all that day incident free. Just to be somewhat safe, I had them inspected by my LDS and they were perfectly fine. Just some scars to the paint which gives it that well used look. Anyway to sum up, tanks are pretty tough. As far as dropping them, it takes alot.
