Okay, I found out what really happened....
Little brother went to pick up the tank by the valve, only, he just grabbed on to the on/off handle. Next thing you know, 5 pictures got blown off the wall and clear into the next room with 3000psi. Dog and cat went running for cover (as well as the rest of the family). The tank gingerly hit the ground (just as if someone set it down a little too hard).
I checked the valve, etc. as best as I could. Didn't look like there was any damage, etc. The AL 80 tank had a boot on it, so that kind of cushioned the fall.
Moral of the story: Watch where you grab the tank! :sigh:
