Good Job Lynne! It was a vicarious deja vu experience for me as well, reading all the pertinent questions you posed, the skills you've attained, and basically watching the "Lightbulb" come on for the past year.

<snip>DIR actually DOES have a lot of rules and restrictions. Compared with the wide world of scuba gear out there, your choices are limited. Compared with the wide range of choices of gases and depths, your choices are limited. Solo diving is not an option.<snip>

BTW, Solo Diving is an option, just not a recommended practice. . .

and actually i use the old interface, so i've never been able to edit my number of dives, or see anyone else's...
