Another happy Liquidfit customer here. My wife's also not an off the rack type and Carolyn did a fine job. The price was competive and really an exceptional value since stock sizes just weren't an option.

She's expecting a hooded vest any day now. This weekend we're heading to Downeast Maine (Acadia National Park) for a week of snorkeling and camping.

She takes apointments for measurements, put her on the speaker phone and hand the measuring tape to your significant other.

You are not alone! But I thought it was just me and I was becoming paranoid that I was huge since I had to get large wetsuit and drysuit. While I am a tad overweight, I am not that much and would call myself a medium in most cases. Also when I look around me at other female divers, I don't stand out as particularly large. So who are they making these suits for??

The same people that Roxy and all those other hip companies make bikinis for: chicks with little meat and no muscle. I wear a size 6 in clothes but something like 18 in bikinis. Go figure. LOL

I got it and it fits perfectly. So, I can now say that I HIGHLY recommend Coral Reef custom wetsuits to anyone in the Southern California area (Beach Blvd, Westminster). While I was there I thought I'd look at his off the rack 3/2 spring suits, which he also makes, for a Belize trip this January. I didn't expect to find anything but he had one that fit pretty well. Only problem was the legs were too wide. Because I had just bought a full suit and hood he is doing the alteration at no charge. Can't beat that. So, I bought a couple of his t-shirts to do a little advertising for him.

Carolyn may live in Florida but she is a Texan from my home town. She makes great suits! My wife has a couple.

The thing I've enjoyed the most about my LF suit is the unbelievable ease in donning and doffing the suit. I opted for the extended leg zippers and wrist zippers. I quite literally just step in it and a few quick zips and I'm ready to go!!!!! No more struggling. Not to mention, the color choices are quite wild.

Enjoy,
SWT

I've heard great things about Coral Reef suits too. I got lucky and my suit (only have one at this point) is a body glove X2 that fit off the rack. I'm sure my next one will be a custom after all the great things I've heard.
Happy Diving.

I'm a Henderson Hyperstretch fan .... when I started diving 2 yrs ago, I tried on a bunch of types at my LDS, but if they fit in one spot, they were too small or too long elsewhere. (I'm short and large busted.) Tried the Henderson and I was sold. I finally ordered and received today, a Hyperstretch shortie to go along with my full suit .... looking forward to breaking it in tomorrow morning!!

The Henderson is a good suit, but for what my husband paid for his 5/7, he could have bought a custom--and still saved $$. So, when it was time to get a 3ml for him, a call went out to Carolyn and LF!

And Swt Taffy, you are absolutely right about the extended zippers! I won't get a suit without them! :)

Could any of you happy Liquid Fit customers give me a ballpark figure for what a hyperstretch kind of suit (like a 5/3) for a short full figured kinda gal would run? I love the zips on my Mares 3 mm but need a slightly heavier suit too.

Thanks
Robin
