Good timing it's starting to get nice again! E komo mai!
Well, I did the back wall at Molokini on Friday and then the drift over the landing vehicle/tank with Makena. The guys were great, as usual. I do wish they'd install a better ladder for my fat butt! (with me hanging back there with someone waiting for me, the ladder is worse than vertical, it's inverted a little!) Not much to see.
But, today, I got my wife to go on the Blue Water Raft trip with me and one of their stops is the back wall. I love snorkeling there. I can only do 50' or so (maybe 60) without being weighted. Just being back there is so awesome. They should do more snorkel trips back there! There's a family of whales out there, maybe more than one, with calves. It was one of the best whale trips I've ever had. The youngun went right under the boat (no camera).
I'm not sure what I'm doing later this week. Tomorrow's a day off, probably driving over to Hana.
