wondering if anyone has experience with these tanks?
would $260 for a new 100 hp be a good deal?
any and all responses + or - would be appreciated.

$260 is a good price as retail goes.

Aren't the OMS tanks Fabers?

i don't believe so as they are hot dipped or hot sprayed galvanized. aren't fabers cold sprayed. i could be wrong though.
i hadn't heard of these tanks until i went to a different shop than my usual one.

mine are worthington, bought new in 06,260 dollars is cheap, they are about 350 dollars everywhere i look no more, no less.

thanks for the replies it is greatly appreciated

Looks like a good price. My old OMS' are the spray coated Faber's, if these are hot dip Worthingtons, then definetly go for it.

Hi rtree.... If the tank in question is marked M8303 and 3aa-3180
that means there Faber Med. pressure 100's. I have a few of these tanks
and there very heavy in/out of the water. I dive these tanks in fresh
water and a 7mm suit, and a 3mm suit in salt w/o weight.

the tanks are rated at 100 cu. ft @ 3500 psi.

neg. 14.5 lbs full
about neg. 8 lbs empty.

no comment on the price, but a recent hydro would be nice.

Hey that was my first post yippie.

3442 working pressure. definitely hot not cold galvanizing brand new but only 2 available at this price. hydro is 2 yr old. new current hydro is $289
