I never understand why the choice of colour has anything to do with scuba equipment.
To me "All Black" represent NZ in Rugby Union Football.

Pretty sure they have always came in the proper color.
It is the best color for scuba gear marketed to tech divers.
Not just because it looks cool, but it serves a function by absorbing light.

Well, yeah, because as a tech diver, you don't need to be visible to your partner in a low viz environment...not to mention gettin' ready to sneak up on Cam Ranh Bay to blow up some commies boats.

I would live one of those pink/purple ones. Would go with my purple and blue drysuit. I wonder if i could trade a brand new,black H wing with tags still on?

I have no idea why tech divers ended up with black gear, except that most of them are men and black is "bad". Personally, I'd much rather be SEEN than be cool. I am ecstatic that Halcyon has done this, and if I ever have to replace any of my wings, I will almost certainly pay the "H tax" to get one in the color I want.
