I'm a Fish!
Well the new OM tough 7 looks decent

I like it and I want it :)
what do you all think is the residual value of a lightly used TG-6?

Does it allow manual settings (as far as I remember this was always the TG problem)?

Wolfgang

From what I've understood no.

What do you think is the added value of the TG7 over the TG6? USB-C doesn't seem much. The rest of hardware seem the same. I haven't seen anything independent even hinting to an improved software.

I am hoping faster processor = faster start up and wake up time and faster focus. Also hoping better white balance. I also think aesthetically it looks better. Everything being on USB -c charger is convenience. I definitly do not think it is worthy $550 upgrade. However, if I can recoup half of the price… Well, that is something to consider :)

There is another scubaboard thread on the camera. Can’t find it but if I remember right TG 7 doesn’t have ability on manual settings. Backscatter has a listing with specs.

Found the other scubaboard thread.
