Motor Drive Mode
Don't forget about the Drive selection (top, right, just behind shutter release). I don't know exactly what the difference is between the two fast settings, but the third one focuses between shots. With a fly over, skip the focus (fix that as in the My Settings), and hold down the shutter as they approach and fly over, trying to keep the jet in the frame. Good luck.

I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions. I was able to get some good pictures. I will admit that I had to use photo editing software to zoom in on the shots, but that and cropping was the only editing I had to do.
