Ok folks - I just picked up some older PST HP 100's, rated to 3500psi service pressure, and I was going to drop them off at the LDS w/ a manifold (Thermo 3/4) I had and I ran across a post that got me thinking my manifold wouldn't have the right thread size.....

The tanks original hydro is around 92 I believe - I'll have to look again for full crown documentation - but does anyone know when PST switched from 7/8 to 3/4 threads? Or any way I can tell externally? Was it just with the E-series?

All PST HP 100's have 7/8 inch threads. A 3/4 inch valve/manifold will not fit.

If you are looking to double them up and need a 7/8 in manifold let me know, I have them in stock.

They will be 7/8 threads. The E seies tanks were originally made to 3500 psi but were later downrated to 3442 to use a Thermo Pro valve with a 3/4 x14 thread.
