Filter housings aren't really all that much. You can find them on eBay starting as low as $400 and new 5000 psi ones start around $700.

Been looking for months and could not find one. Dose anybody know who sells these filters ?

Jim does ... I do and I am sure there are lots of others as well. We can sell you stuff by PM but not out in the open. It is a violation of forum rules to get into direct advertising or selling on the boards.

PM sent;)

I used to be in a club that had something similar, though a bit larger, for the clubhouse navy surplus compressor. IIRC, we poured the media into ladies nylon stockings, tied them off, and tamped the resulting charges down into the cylinders. They fit snugly and came out easily after use. The exact technique had been passed from air-master to air-master over 30-odd years.

I am looking for a small inexpensive air filter for a small portable compressor. I don't have $700 for a new one. Hopping to find a used inexpensive one some where else. If someone has plans to build one that would help. All help is appreciated. Please PM me with what info you may have on this matter

Thank you,

Bill

With ANY used filter housing, make sure you inspect it well since you don't really know how many cycles it has undergone.
