Hello Cristi,

I sent my watch to a shop here in the States. I was referred to them by Scubapro.

They are:

WATCH SHOP

643 S FOURTH AVE

LOUISVILLE , KY

40202
888-795-7081

I contacted them and mailed the watch. It was returned to me in perfect working order and I wear it daily. This was my first dive watch, so I am a bit attached. I have no idea what it is worth on the market, you might want to keep an eye on EBay in that regard.
The repair was a grand total of $30.00 (US), not counting postage and insurance.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Best of luck...

Is it a swiss movement or possibly a Seiko automatic. EIther way, autos are known for lasting a very long time. Definitely send in every 2-5 years for servicing. Probably 2 or 3 if actually being dived with. I went with St Moritz due to their service program. $30 for an overhaul is a great deal. Do an internet search for watch forums. THere are a few hard core groups out there that can help you get it serviced and maybe give you a rough idea of value. I'd like to see the watch and find out how much it costs. Too bad a good auto watch is so expensive anymore. I'd love to see the watch.

Hello Guys,

eventhough these post are not recent I thought I would reply and ask how "ScubaSteve" made out with his Scubapro watch, and the others that mentioned them?

Thanks,

I have spoken with Scubapro repair and have had great luck with my Scubapro 500 watch that I received as a High School graduation gift in 1981. It is in pristine condition. I have worn it everyday since. The contact info below will direct you to the folks that Scubapro has designated as the "keeper" off all the Scubapro watch spare parts for the 500 (Scubapro no longer repairs those watches as I'm sure you have found out). They do not have any more crystals, so please keep it in good shape. Whenever I have sent mine to them, they are always great about repair, conditioning of the watch, as well as sending back old parts. Here is the info: The Watch Shop in Kentucky (888) 795-7081. Give them a call. They are great and very honest. I fully endorse them. They are the ONLY ones who have parts and knowledge about how to refurbish the Scubapro 500. Please let me know if this works for you. Also please e-mail my personal e-mail address as I don't often check the scubaboard... Tonyvd@optonline.net. Just trying to help a fellow diver out!! Please let me know how it goes.
