The scubapro fins w/o the lighting bolts were made from a "hard rubber" compound. Clean them by soaking them in the bathtub with a mild dishwashing liquid and rinse well with clean water. Spray Armorall on them (not the straps) and hang them up to dry. If the fins have a dry or dull look then you may need to rub in the Armorall and spray them several times. This conditions the rubber and makes the fins look good. I have a pair of "Jets" I purchased in 1968 that I'm still using ....... have gone thru several fins straps (keeping an extra pair of straps in your "save-a-dive kit" is always a good idea). The SCUBAPRO JET FIN is one of the most copied designs out there. A good set might last 50 years if taken care of.
