Old Garden Beach (7/12/09) Report

You'll definitely get your 70 ft dive in at Cathederal. I think that is the deepest shore diving on Cape Ann. I may well be wrong but I believe it is.

Also around the left side tip of folly's cove gets deep around 70'. I haven't dove there since i dumped my boat 20 yrs ago. The little bit of parking there is residents only unless you want to park elsewhere after unloading.

Many moons ago, dove OGB and came across Scallops. Not enough to bother dragging back but they can be out there if you go afar. I've seen scallops off Lanes and Norman's Woe and Magnolia Point as well.

Can't wait tp get back into real diving ;o) I want it all in a dive.. depth first, then time to gather some nice lobsters and/or scallops on the way back/up
