Although not from OH, I dive frequently (well, mostly) in OH quarries. (BTW - Although I'm from Ann Arbor, I owe no allegiance to either UofM or THE Ohio State University. I'm originally from civilized country - out East.)
I start the last weekend of April and go thru early November - and I dive wet (7mm with 3mm hooded vest (early and late), 7mm, 3mm (July-August), and sometimes just a hooded vest(on VERY warm days in August)).
Of course, I prefer the Caribbean - and I leave for Grand Cayman in 24 days!
