How far is it from the OG to the Occidental Allegro dock? Does Dive Palancar have a place to store gear at OG or Occidental Allegro?

Once at the beach of the OG, about a 5-7 minute walk. Don't know the answer to your other question, sorry.

the resorts are only a short walk on the beach. and yes on both places having storage. Dive Palancar will pick you up at the grand so you dont need to drag your gear so far. The grand finished their pier in aug.03.

We stayed at the Allegro last year in March. It was about 90% full, and they tried to upgrade us to the OG for free. Apparently the occupancy there wasn't so high. Sounds like a good deal, but at there was no pier at that time - we saw divers with full gear wading out waist deep to get on a boat - and the beach was virtually non-existant. We ended up staying where we were. I'm glad to see that they finally got a pier, but is the beach any better now?
