HI everyone! My name is Maxi and I work in Blue Angel Dive shop and the Caribe Blu hotel as a customer service manager...
Blue Angel Dive Shop is open...all of our boats are ready to go...
Guest will again be arriving at the Caribe Blu Hotel on November 20th, 2005!!!


Also i want to add that we have been diving maybe the 10 more popular dive sites in Cozumel and the reefs are changed...we have seen a lot of fish, turtles, groupers and morays and even eagle rays...the same fun dives we had before the hurricane!
For those who dove already here...is very interesting to see the changes on he reef...for those who never dove here, the diving is still as spectacular as ever!!

Excellent news, thanks for the update.

It would sure be nice to see some photos of Caribe Blu to see how well the clean up is going. All I have seen so far are photos right after the hurricane, which don't look that good.

I'll be seeing you on December 18-24

As someone who is coming to visit you in the next few weeks, can I assume that this means that not only will guests be arriving, but Caribe Blue will be open and operational to house them? Not trying to be a pain in the @55, just want to make sure I understand what this statement means before I get too excited.

Answering your questions.
The hotel is being repaired as we speak...i´ll take some pictures for you to see...
We are opening 12 rooms of the hotel in november 19th...and hoping to open the other 10 rooms left in december, including he pool....
We have 5 of 6 boats ready to go and we are expecting divers for tomorrow!

Thanks Maxi, this is great news. My wife and I are coming down on the first flight that American Airlines has scheduled to Cozumel, and will see you on Dec. 16th. We will bring with us as much extra clothing for the poor as we can pack, and encourage others to do the same. We eagerly await your rebuilding pictures, and send our best wishes to you and Jeanie and the rest. We will see you all soon. Woody
