I would not agree,

most of my 80min plus dives are usually atleast 130.. most considerably deeper.., The average 130ft dive here (for those with experience) has a total run time of 60-90 minutes..

When I do a 3 hour dive its usually not at recreational depths...

Many classes I teach have both dive # requirements, to force a certain number of dive plans AND a Bottom time requirement AND a total run time requirement RT=BT + deco

You cover ALL the bases.. dives by themselve mean nothing...
